Sunday night I attended a Women’s Fitness night at a running store, Body ‘N Sole, near Champaign, IL with my girlfriends Abby and Amy. We got some goodies and listened to a speech on cross training. I got this nice little Brooks make up bag, which got me thinking about packing some items to spruce up after a race or a group run.

What products do you keep with you to get ready or to clean up after a good sweat session?

Not pictured trial sized sunscreen and lotion. Thank goodness for expos, I use all the free samples in my running bag.

Last night was the Ride the Wave group run. I got to be the leader for the front and we did 4 Miles with Fartleks (speed play – picking up the pace for a set distance or land mark). I had a lot of fun hanging with our group, talking about up coming races and helping them sustain the pick ups. I’ve really enjoyed the RTW program and while it’s for the participants I find that I feel re-engergized by helping them. I’m looking forward to our upcoming workouts with hills and track work.
