Workouts:

Thursday (12/30): 14 Miles Med-Long (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 1:55:42, 8:16 Pace)

Friday (12/31): 12 Miles Med-Long w/ 2 @ MGP (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 1:34:19, 7:52 Pace)

Saturday (1/1): 9 Miles Recovery (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 1:16:03, 8:27 Pace)

Sunday (1/2): 16 Miles Long (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 2:07:48, 8:00 Pace)

This week is a new weekly mileage record high with 70 Miles.

For my long run today I ate a Vanilla Orange Carboom! at mile 10 and it was not delicious. I was expecting a taste similar to a dreamcicle, but it tasted more like medicine. I will stick to the yummy Apple Cinnamon flavor next time.

Rob and I have been making plans for our 2011 adventures, which includes getting some races on the books. We are now planning to race Go! St. Louis Half Marathon in April.

It’s nice to start getting some races registered and on the books. More to come as more race registrations become available.

Often Running

2010 was an amazing year! Rob and I had many fun flights in our airplane, we saw Dave Matthews Band two times this year (my favorite band), Jason Mraz (also a fave) and the Dan Band, went to our first Cubs game, kicked it in Vegas, went sailing for the first time, and ran some memorable races along the way.

2010 running highlights include qualifying for Boston Marathon three times at Mercedes Marathon, IL Marathon and Chicago Marathon. Meeting Kara Goucher and Constantina Dita, plus getting to be a part of the Often Running Racing Team.

I’m so proud to represent the Often Running store, adidas, and this group of individuals. They have been so supportive and have helped Rob and I become better runners along the way. We have a lot of fun running and hanging out with them.
