February 2010 Stats

My mileage is less this month due to taper for the marathon and then the recovery and now ramp up into our next plan. I can’t wait for the mileage to pick back up. I also need to get better at filling the down time with other cross training activities.

Here are the stats:

IL Marathon Training: Week 1 Complete

Yesterday we ran into our friend Jack while running errands and we made impromptu plans to join him and Christine for dinner. Not very often that I get to be around another person named Christine. 🙂 After dinner we got in our workouts. I did 5 Miles Recovery on the treadmill followed by some Ab work and Upper Body Strengthening.

Today was a great day because we “put the ‘fly’ back into ‘flyrunner'”. 🙂 We had our first flight of 2010! This winter has been quite unfavorable for flying. It was like Christmas to get back into our plane and take off somewhere. We went south to an airport restaurant for lunch. A 20 minute flight that would be almost 2 hours by car. The plane flew perfectly. I can’t wait until we are back to flying regularly.

Then it was on to errands and then running. I did 7 Miles Recovery on the treadmill and picked up the pace a little half way through to wake up my legs. Then I did some Upper Body Strengthening.

Su: 7 Miles Recovery (Treadmill, 1% Incline, 52:42, 7:32 Pace), Upper Body Weights
