Chicago Marathon Training: Week 16 Complete!

It wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t do a formal Week 16 complete report. 🙂

Here is how the final week of taper and race went:
M: Bike 7.5 Miles Easy (P4, L5, 30 mins, 15 mph)
T: Bike 4 Miles Warm Up (P1, L6, 15 mins, 16 mph), 3 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 1% incline, 24:24, 8:08 pace)
W: Bike 3.9 Miles Warm Up (P1, L5, 15 mins, 15.6 mph), 5 Miles Tempo (Treadmill, 1% incline, 41:05, 8:13 pace w/3 miles @ 8:06 pace), Upper Body Weights
R: Rest
F: AM: Bike 9.1 Miles Easy (P1, L5, 30 mins, 18.2 mph), PM: 3 Miles Easy (Treadmill, 2% incline, 24:40, 8:14 pace), Abs and Pushups
Sa: Rest
Su: 26.2 Race (Chicago Marathon, 4:08:13, 9:29 pace)

Total: 37.2 Miles
