Chicago Marathon Training: Week 8 Complete

This week flew by! Friday I had to be at work for the morning, then it was out to lunch with friends, 7 mile run and then out for a happy hour. Saturday Rob had his 18 mile run and I had 7 to do. We ran around our neighborhood and we found out that our subdivision and the surrounding ones were doing garage sales, which made for a lot of traffic maneuvering. After my 7 I became Rob’s pit crew and refilled his water and made sure he had the bloks/bars he wanted. I went back out with him and ran his last mile with him, which was a lot of car dodging from the garage sales. After Rob’s ice bath we headed to a friends 50th bday party.

Us at the party. Thanks Mike for the picture! Holding still for a cell phone picture feels like forever!

Sunday was our 5K race and then work on the plane and the house. This week has just felt non stop.
